Family Reunion

We spent three days in Riggins, Idaho at a family reunion. What a tremendous time we had. The hot springs swimming pool was enough to keep the kids extremely busy. In our spare time we did a little fishing and sang some Karaoke (I use the term "sang" very loosely here). The food was great and the company was even better. Thanks to Dad and Sheri for pulling this all together. This is probably my favorite photo of the entire weekend. Everyone here is holding up their RobStrong bracelet, honoring the great life and legacy of Rob. I was so glad that Patti Sue and her children were able to come. Below is over 130 photos of the weekend. Sorry about the music, not much of a selection to choose from, if you want to turn it off just click the speaker icon. Also to view the photos individually click the view all images link. Enjoy:

Gotta love Uncle Brian!

New Trampoline

We finally broke down and bought a brand new trampoline. We had inherited an older trampoline that the kids wore out until it ripped about two months ago. The tear in the old tramp went right down the middle and we found the kids actually enjoyed playing with the ripped tramp for quite some time. Alas, that finally wore out and Tasha insisted on getting a "safer trampoline". So we bought the mother of all trampolines. It took about 4 hours to set up. We are still all smiles here. I had helpers for the first 20 minutes or so.

Day number two and about 4 hours into the project. The kids drove me nuts asking when it was going to be finished and they kept trying to jump on the trampoline before it was ready. Finally I finish, there are no kids to be found and I had to ask Tasha to come out a take a picture. I told her to tell the kids the tramp was finally ready, where were all the kids? Scroll down to the next photos!

The kids were too busy playing with the BOX the trampoline came in!

Teresa's Wedding

It has been tough on everyone since the passing of Gary, Teresa's husband, over a year and a half ago, but the family was able to come together for a great day last June. Teresa was married to Doug Bodily in Salt Lake City. It was so nice to see Teresa smiling again and she was such a beautiful bride. Doug is a great man with three kids of his own so life is busy for the newlyweds!

Visit to Salt Lake City

In early June we made a stop at Temple Square in Salt Lake City. I always love the feeling at Temple Square and it is especially nice to take the family there and spend some quality time together.
